Ian McKenna, FCCA, Solicitor

Ian became a partner in the firm in 2006. A qualified accountant and solicitor, he spent many years advising well known Irish companies as in-house financial director.

The absence of shareholder and partnership agreements in most Irish firms causes major problems when shareholders or partners argue, die or wish to leave. Ian specialises in commercial and employment law and has a particular interest in shareholder and partnership issues.

A growing area if Irish law is the area of intellectual property and Ian provides advice to clients in that emerging and increasingly important area, particularly in the area of patent licensing.
